June 13, 2020
As I mentioned in my last letter, every Wednesday all the DREs (Religious Education Administrators) attend an online meeting sponsored through the Diocese of Brooklyn where many things are discussed in anticipation for the upcoming school year.
Our Sunday program will look different. How different, I just don't know. Will we be able to meet together every Sunday? Will we be able to use the building the same way as we always have? Again, I just don't know and only time will tell.
What I do know is that the program we will use on Sunday will contain "Blended Learning." What is "Blending Learning?" It is what has been going on across our country and in our schools. Please do not become stressed by what I am telling or asking of you. "We are all in this together!" We will work together to help our children grow in our Catholic faith.
I would like to thank the families that have already responded to the previous letter. "THANK YOU!" I know September seems like a long way off, but I do need your help.
1. What is your best email address? If it is more than one, just let me know.
2. How will your family communicate online?
Also, do you have younger children who will be registering in our program in September? Do you know of any families that we should be in contact to let them know about our program? Please let me know.
Thank you and May God Bless,
Ms. Helen A. Teifer
Religious Education Administrator
