In 2023, Most Reverend Robert J. Brennan divided the diocese into four regions: Brooklyn East, Brooklyn West, Queens East, and Queens West. In these regions, we have the deaneries. A deanery is a grouping of several parishes in a neighborhood or a particular area of the diocese. The goal of having deaneries is to pool resources and approach common challenges together. The smallest deanery in the diocese has three member parishes, the largest thirteen. The average number of parishes is eight.
We belong to the Brooklyn East Episcopal Region, Deanery 7 (B7).
The Episcopal Vicar of the Region is Very Reverend Joseph M. Hoffman. The Dean of the Deanery is Very Rev. Edward R. P. Kane.
