Sacraments
Marriage
The Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a public sign that one gives oneself totally to this other person. It is also a public statement about God: the loving union of husband and wife speaks of family values and also God’s values. In the vocation of matrimony, husband and wife are called to be an image of how Christ has loved the church.
If you are interested in being married at St. Jude, please fill out this form and contact the parish office at (718) 763-6300 as soon as you become engaged and not less than six months in advance of your anticipated wedding date. Contact the parish prior to making your reception plans to ensure date availability. All couples are required to attend a Diocesan Pre-Cana Marriage Preparation Program.
